Two is Better than One

Hello everyone!

Recently, a blog reader contacted me to see if I wanted to purchase a pillow sham from her.  It matches the one that I already purchased from Ballard Designs a few months ago.  I was excited about the offer because they no longer sell it anymore and I was interested in getting another one at an affordable price.  She found one on sale, but decided it was too large for her space.  So, after she contacted me, I gave it some thought and then gladly said "YES"!  

So, now that I have two of these shams, I brought mine back (from the foyer) and onto my bed to sit beside the new one.  That's right.............two is better than one!

And with that, came other changes to the bedroom.  With the busy design of the shams, the floral paintings above the headboard made it look too cluttered.  So, down they came and my cow canvas (from over my fireplace) got hung up instead.  

There is just something about burlap and cows that go together to me!  I also changed out my lampshade to a burlap one too.

Some old books in a wicker tray and greenery complete the other side of the bed.

So, I'm very happy with the end result.  And most of all...........I'm very happy that my blog reader called me before sending it back to the store.  (Thank you Pat!)
